Sandstone is best cleaned dry, and if there is more dirt, it can be removed with warm water and detergent. Irrespective of the type of stone chosen, agents with high acidity must not be used. It is also worth remembering that polished stone is slippery. It is good to protect it so that it does not pose a danger, e.g. by using non-slip strips.
